We have been decorating a bit for Christmas and Evelyn is thrilled. Every night when we turn on the outside lights, she smiles big and wants to go out and look at the house from the street. We have a few decorations up inside but we are waiting a bit longer for the tree. The night that we decorated inside, Evelyn got into my stash of pine cones and set them about the house, it was so funny to see the places that she chose to put them, like right in the center of chairs and all over her little painted table. She was very proud of this and we have kept the pine cones where she put them (for the most part). She also keeps talking about getting to give presents to her cousins and she has decided that she can't wait to play with Audrey and Kate ( her big girl cousins).
