Evelyn and her Papa rode in the Coast Guard boat today as it was towed along in our town's Christmas parade. I sat on the sidelines so I could get pictures and footage. I will say, I never thought that I would get teared up at a little po-dunky parade. But, that was before I ever saw that tiny brown face coming towards me, scanning the crowd for ME and smiling big and waving when she finally saw me. She was so cute sitting there clutching a candy cane to give to me , on her Papa's lap with a red nose and rosy cheeks. I looked up and there was my family, my entire world , right there chugging along in that parade and I couldn't have been more proud or happy.

My god girl, you do have a way with words...There is nothing more precious or more powerful than your kids and your family. I love you all so much, & I'm so happy you guys have each other. Lissa
