Liam and His Back Pack

I think that his parents carrying a back pack everywhere for the first days of the relationship has affected Liam. Maybe he just loves having things that are completely his own? No matter the reason it's cute, this thing that is happening.
The boy loves his backpack. He wears it all day every day unless he is eating or sleeping. It's empty because he doesn't have the need to "pack" so much as just have it on his back.
He will pick it up and grab it and come at me jabbering and thrusting it forward. The minute that Les or I touch the back pack, he puts his back towards us and assumes the position. After he's all loaded up, he looks at us, and waves and walks purposefully away.
It's so cute that I can't stand it.
