Do you ever wonder what it's like to be a part of Bean's day and hear all of the funny stuff that comes out of her mouth? Of course you do- everyone is as obsessed with Bean as we are- right? Right. Well here are a couple of random quotes....
* At the dinner table, Les was teasing her and saying things like, "maybe we should go toss her in the mud", insert insane giggly "NOOOOO" here and THEN she looks at me and says "maybe we should hold HIM down and put a Princess Dress on him!", then looks at her father with a steely eye and pointed finger and says " you just can't stop me"
*We always do the "too old to cut the mustard" joke- because, well, yes we are that sophisticated- but one afternoon for lunch, there was only mayo out. Bean looks at Les and says "you know I am too old to cut the mayonnaise!"
This is really funny stuff around here. I mean putting a dress on Papa?!!?! Come on- that's funny no matter who you are.
******* I realized that I called this 3 funny things and then only posted 2-ah- I got distracted....
so the third thing was,
*Bean is a big Springstein fan. She calls him, not just the Boss but, the Bosser Man and her favorite song is Tunnel of Love (cuddle up angel, cuddle up my little dove ride down into, into this tunnel of lu-uv). While at the park the other day, Bean was climbing around willy-nilly and Les and I were standing close with our arms around each other, talking . All of the sudden Bean pops out on the top of one of the slides, sees us and says " You Guyses! You just ride down that tunnel of love!"
