Reunited and It Feels So Good

Tonight at around 9:25 pm, I was on the phone with my Mom, as we were talking I was hit with inspiration. I realized that in all of the searching that we have done for The Choppah, no one had actually lifted the shirt that was stuffed in the back end of Bean's dump truck. I walked over as if in a trance and lifted the shirt and PRAISE GOD AND ALL OF HIS ANGELS, there was Lambchoppah!!! It was a miracle, there was dancing, there was tears, in two households mind you because Grandma wanted to still be on the phone when I called Bean over(Mom, I wish you could have seen her face). All is right in Bean's world now, her face lit up to 1000 watts and she hugged the hell outta that little lamb.
I just want to say here that it was completely astounding to me that we had lost that lamb, I just couldn't wrap my mind around it. Then I thought, what the hell, we didn't notice for a week?!?!?! As it turns out my gut was right, we weren't that careless with one of our child's friends, we did get her home safe and sound, we just forgot that she was wrapped in a polar fleece shirt in the back of a dump truck that stays parked in the dining room- that's better, right?. (a note on the dump truck thing,... have I mentioned that my daughter is a pack rat of sorts and has all kinds of bundles and bags full of stuff stashed everywhere? Well she does and I am beyond keeping track of all of them, I just notice and intervene if something starts to stink.)
I will say, Bean had a rough few days, but Choppah WAS stuck in the back of a truck with the pooping ballerina doll (see this post http://beandippin.blogspot.com/2008/01/for-those-of-you-that-dont-know.html) so of the two, I am sure that lambchoppah had it worse.
SO okay I have to dash off and cancel a couple of Internet orders for the TY Plushy Shearly the Lamb because , dudes this thing is a collectors item and discontinued and hard to find so I kind of freaked and ordered some. OH and here are a few photos of grief washing joy that only a child can feel.

Just a message from Lambchoppah.... " Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers during this tough time. I was found and then reunited with my human, things are great now and we can both move on. I am ready to re-assume my duties as friend and confidant to a great kid"
Do you see why we love her?
