Evelyn called me today and in the space of 15 seconds she declared that she was being a good girl about 20 times. As a matter of fact, informing me of this supposed goodness seemed to be the entire reason for her call.
I became immediately suspicious 'cause my mama didn't raise a fool. Also I wasn't born yesterday. And then I am the mother of a 5 year old.
Then I got to talk with Aunt Melissa. Now Aunt Melissa is Ev's personal Spin Doctor. The "Elaine-ness" that they share is a mighty tight bond and Aunt Lissa would NEVER tell the truth about her behavior sell Ev down the river.
However today Aunt Melissa did say, and I quote "umm they are both being kind of...bicker-y to each other".
